The first to be out in the market worldwide, Monopoly Here and Now World Edition is the answer for people craving to travel around the world. This will give you an idea of what to expect when you go from one city of a particular country to another. A twist from the original, instead of acquiring properties, you travel worldwide to cities and learn their culture.
A survey conducted by Hasbro around the world where people was asked to pick from a list, the cities of a particular country that they wanted the new Monopoly would include, this would change the high end properties that was on the original Monopoly.
In addition, they were also asked to write down what other cities not in the choice they would like to add which would substitute for the low cost properties. Turn out was a success. These were the cities included, Montreal in Canada, Riga in Latvia, Taipei in China and Galynici in Poland. A variation of the Change card and Community Chest were also introduced so players would be given add information to the well-known events that happen in key cities worldwide. This was the concept behind the Monopoly Here and Now World Edition.
